It is a wish of everybody to be a property magnet. To be the entrepreneur who builds the tallest tower in any town.
Currently the tallest building in the world is Dubai Tower in United Arab Emirates. It is 818 m tall with 160 habitable floors.
In 2007; I was in Sears towers, Chicago, USA. It is currently called Willis building. When it was completed in 1973 it was the tallest building in the world. At the moment, it is the tallest building in USA and 5th in the world.
In Warsaw, Poland the tallest building is called the Place of Culture and Science. I was lucky to visit it in 2005.
The three tallest buildings that I have discussed have totally different histories.
The question is: how can you build the tallest building in a city or in the world as a whole?
The Dubai Tower and Sears tower were built along with other tall buildings. Despite other tall buildings, they eventually emerged as the tallest. At the time of design, they were conceived and designed to be built as the tallest buildings.
However, it is not the case with Place of Culture and Science in Poland. This was built after all the other buildings were flattened during the war with Germans. When it was under construction, it was towering as the tallest among the crushed rubble.
Therefore, there are only two ways to build the tallest building in a town. The first way is either to crush all other tall building so that your building stands out as the tallest. The second way is to design the tallest building in terms of architecture, design, resources and manpower. Building a new tall building is expensive, requires new skills and it takes time.
Similarly, to become the tallest personality in terms of skills, education, and experience and earn the highest salary, it requires a lot of input. You have to put in long hours of hard work. You have to study for many years. You have to sacrifice a lot. You have to go up the stairs of experience until you emerge as the tallest.
However, most people do not want to become the tallest by design. They do not want to put long years of study. They do not want to go up the stairs of experience. They do not want to put in long hours of self development. They are not willing to learn new things. They do not want to study and improve.
Instead, they want to crush others so that they are seen as the tallest.
You know such people. They are always trying to belittle your achievements. They are out to disparage your experience. They sneer at your long hours of self-development. They ridicule even your outright achievements.
It is upon YOU to decide how you want to build your tallest personality.

it hurts when people try to crush the tallest pillars so as to be the tallest.i was in a situation where people crushed me so as to make one of there own the tallest pillar.

@Mutuma. I can really identify with your position. The best would be to add 'pillars' to your building as you add more 'floors' going up. That way, Even if they attempt to crush you, you will remain intact and getting taller.
