Jesus heals a Man with Leprosy

A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Mathew 8:2.
This is a new week. You may be suffering from a different type of leprosy. Leprosy is a contagious disease, it is painful, leprosy may eventually lead to death. I don’t know your leprosy, it could be: your boss, your college work, your spouse, a bad habit, financial difficulties, a colleague at work, your child etc.
Take these few steps that the man with leprosy took to get healed and your leprosy will disappear.
-
Acknowledge that there is a problem/need.
-
Humble yourself (the man with leprosy knelt).
-
Look for help and take action. This is the most important step. The man with leprosy took an action and looked for help from Jesus. Similarly, go a step further by taking action and looking for help from the right source.
-If it is a bad habit that you want to leave, set clear steps on how to stop it.
-If it is financial difficulty, start saving small and be real to yourself. It is not possible to become Richard Branson overnight. The simplest rules to financial freedom are: start early and be disciplined. Make sure whatever you earn, 10% is yours to keep. Read books on financial freedom and study what other people have done to be financially secure.
-If it is your spouse, in any relationship you obviously get what you give (law of attraction). Do something nice to your spouse/partner everyday and you will see a difference.
-
When the man with leprosy got healed, he went throughout the city proclaiming good news. After taking the above mentioned steps and overcoming your leprosy, don’t stop there; let others know what you did to achieve that feat. They will be happy to emulate your example to heal their leprosy.
