This is special post in Honour of Macdonald Mariga.

Macdonald Mariga entered the books of history on the night of 16th March 2010 to be the first Kenyan to play in the highly rated UEFA Champions League. Congrats Mariga.

Mariga has set an inspirational example to many aspiring kids. It is now evidently clear that, Kenyans can be good in both athletics and football.

If you have been harbouring an ambition in football or any other sport; keep the spirit. Do not abort the dream. Do not throw away your vision.

Destiny might be delayed, but it has to come.

This is a truly deserved honour well described here. And for KFF and KPL wrangles remember you are cursed for misleading the talented youngsters who potentially lost their talent. Its unfortunate that some of Marigas peers were lost in this confusion and ii know one day he will do something to avert this catastrophic hindrance to the nurturing of existing scoccer talent in Kenya

It's only the 'live fish that swim up the stream'. This is an inspiration to those that dare to dream that dreams backed with determination can come true.
