Jesus heals a Man with Leprosy

by Joshua Arimi on November 23, 2009

sunsetA man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Mathew 8:2.

This is a new week. You may be suffering from a different type of leprosy.  Leprosy is a contagious disease, it is painful,  leprosy may eventually lead to death. I don’t know your leprosy, it could be: your boss, your college work, your spouse, a bad habit, financial difficulties, a colleague at work, your child etc.

Take these few steps that the man with leprosy took to get healed and your leprosy will disappear.

  • Acknowledge that there is a problem/need.
  • Humble yourself (the man with leprosy knelt).
  • Look for help and take action. This is the most important step. The man with leprosy took an action and looked for help from Jesus. Similarly, go a step further by taking action and looking for help from the right source.
-If it is a bad habit that you want to leave, set clear steps on how to stop it.
-If it is financial difficulty, start saving small and be real to yourself. It is not possible to become Richard Branson overnight. The simplest rules to financial freedom are: start early and be disciplined. Make sure whatever you earn, 10% is yours to keep. Read books on financial freedom and study what other people have done to be financially secure.
-If it is your spouse,  in any relationship you obviously get what you give (law of attraction). Do something nice to your spouse/partner everyday and you will see a difference.
  • When the man with leprosy got healed, he went throughout the city proclaiming good news. After taking the above mentioned steps and overcoming your leprosy, don’t stop there; let others know what you did to achieve that feat.  They will be happy to emulate your example to heal their leprosy.

Fantastic! One thing have realized is that people fail because they never ACCEPT their weaknesses thus making them never 2 propher in this life and blame others for their failures. Kudos Joshua 4 your great articles, like them, am ur fan.
